Grand Re-Opening Party

Music Machine Studio's Grand Re-Opening party was a huge success and the studio is up and running at full steam. Lots of our studio friends and clients showed up for a huge jam session that went all day. Thanx to all that came and contributed. Pictures of the party are available for your viewing pleasure.

Papa Hoodoo Medicine Show are finishing up their long awaited record and Rene Avila is putting the final touches on a couple of his mixes. Chuck Zahemski is tracking some new Christian music with our illustrious session drummer Scott Petry.

Friday March 6, 2009:

Some recent sessions at the studio have been tracking for the bands "The Quiet Ones" and "The Shake."

We also recently finished 13 pieces for the Tenafly, NJ High School Chamber Music Club. The young musicians played pieces by Dvorak, Mozart, Schumann, Schubert and others. They have an upcoming concert on Friday, April 24, 2009 at The Tenafly Middle School Auditorium, Sunset Lane, Tenafly, NJ 07670. The CD will be available for $10.00 at the concert or you can contact Peter at to buy the CD and/or get tickets to the concert. All profits from the CD sales and concert tickets will go to a charity for "The Children of Cambodia." Pictures of the chamber music sessions can be found here.

The Papa Hoodoo record is currently being mixed and has a tentative release date of May 1, 2009, coinciding with a big gig at BB Kings in NY City.

I am also working on the next Halovox record with the great Frank Freda.
